We are looking for medical professionals who will pioneer a Reach Beyond team to serve with a local partner in its outreach to refugees. Arabic language study is required. Medical professionals will function as a consultant/advisor in a clinic or caravan setting. The expatriate medical professional works closely on a regular basis with national medical staff to train, teach, mentor, and coach. The setting is often informal and the critically important building of relationships over time requires patience and grace. In this community-based work, the acquisition of language skills and sensitivity to cultural norms is crucial to gaining credibility.
